Sunday's Coming ~ September 18, 2016

We are discovering that Trinity is more than an Orange City church, with members and visitors from a 20-mile radius in Northwest Iowa.  We are honored to share Christ in our region and are praying for a move of God in each community.

That brings us to our Fall worship series: "Here's the Church."  Our worship touches on the most basics of being part of God's church wherever we find ourselves -- whether we are not yet believers in Jesus, or have been following him a long time.

This week we focus on the church as the hope of Christ in the world.  We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Rev. Titus Baraka to preach this message.  Titus is our mission partner in Uganda, where he leads Words of Hope Uganda, directs mission in the entire country for the Church of Uganda, and continues his ministry with College Students at Uganda Christian University, having begun Bethesda Christian Ministries Uganda.

Titus will remind us that the church does not exist for itself, but for God's mission in the world.  One theologian said several decades ago, "The church exists for mission, like a fire exists for burning."
