SUNDAY'S COMING This week, and right up through March 29, we will be camping out in one of Jesus' five messages in the New Testament book of Matthew. This one is in Matthew 10. Jesus sees a crowd and has compassion for them. The need is so great that he tells his followers:
"The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray earnestly for the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."
What the disciples soon discover is that they are the answer to their own prayer!
We'll discover in this series that there is very little difference between being a follower and being a sent out one. With one step we follow; with the next step we serve. But at each step, we are led by the Lord of the harvest. He sees us, he heals us, he invites us to follow, and he empowers us to go.
This Sunday, my hope is that you know that Jesus sees you and invites you. The time is short. The day is urgent. Let's follow him into the field.
We'll also celebrate communion, and we'd love to get better acquainted over coffee and in Sunday School.

For the next two Sunday’s we will be spending time learning about and praying in very practical, guided ways. We believe the quote above to be true and therefore need to continue growing as individuals and as a church in our understanding and practice of prayer. Please come out and join us for this time.
