Sunday's Coming! ~ July 27

Prayers for our Teens rockySome of the most important days in the lives of 55 people of our church will take place tomorrow through Wednesday.  Our Senior High youth group (Co[]ide) is at Rocky Mountain High in Estes Park, CO.

Many of them have already been serving the Lord with Springs Community Church in Colorado Springs this week.  Today they'll hit a river raft expedition and tomorrow they will begin a four day period of worship, prayer, Bible Study, and celebration of our great God.

Would you join me in praying for the glory of God to seep deep into their soul.

God of glory, let our students gaze at the hills with dumbstruck awe for your beauty, majesty, power, strength, and glory.  Send your Spirit as a mighty rushing wind and gentle evening breeze off the forests of pine and aspen and birch.  Open the eyes of their hearts to see Jesus as he really is - a crucified lamb that was slain now in glory, high and lifted up.  Fill each student with godly repentance and ready hearts to be transformed for living in your Kingdom.  Let your Word be sweet as honey to their soul.  Lord Jesus, walk with each student into each day this week.  Christ be before them and behind them.  Christ be above them and beneath them.  Christ be all around them.

WorkAndWorshipIt's the capstone (and final) week to our work and worship series.  This week's witness is Stan Vandersall.  He's a perfect conclusion to our testimonies.  His story talks about how he lives in retirement for God's glory.  Our text is Colossians 3:17 to 4:6.

We'll also hear from Andrew and Jana Mead, who recently completed a year in mission in Ehtiopia.  Andrew is a graduate of MOCFV, Hope College, and Western Seminary.  Jana graduated from Hope and is a nurse.  Mission member Joan Andres will interview and lead us in prayer for their next stop in the kingdom.
